Leduc Farmers Market welcomes the following vendors to our Thursday, June 27 market. We'll be open 10am-1:30pm in the Leduc Grain Elevator parking lot.

 Thank you to our loyal customers and the Leduc community for weathering the many location changes of Leduc Farmers’ Market over the last several years! Our journey has been challenging and we would like to be transparent with some of the setbacks we have faced so there is a better understanding of how we arrived at our current location at Leduc Heritage Grain Elevator! Over the years we have been at the Alexandra Arena (our preferred location), moving to two downtown locations and back and forth to the Leduc Recreation Centre. Each location had pros and cons for vendors and customers, but were unable to satisfy the requirements of all parties involved. Our team has scouted every area of Leduc to find the 'perfect' location. Some of the locations we have researched are Leduc Common, several downtown options and a few on the south and east sides of the city. Many spots are unavailable for the market to use, or the cons outnumber the pros. We discovered that Leduc Heritage Grain Elevator checked off most of our boxes and we are pleased to be trying out this location in hopes of making it permanent in the future. The Grain Elevator offers good visibility, plenty of space for vendors and ample parking around the area. We are aware there are some issues such as busy traffic flow, periodical muddy conditions and difficult terrain for those with mobility issues. With time, changes and improvements can be made once we make the decision if this will be our permanent home. For now, we ask that you, our very valued customers, to continue to offer constructive suggestions that will positively enhance your shopping experience at the new location! We are also very open to hearing your proposals of locations in Leduc, taking into consideration the size of vendor vehicles, space for future growth, cost of land rental, visibility, parking and whether the location is willing to host the market on both Thursdays and Saturdays. We are willing to look into any feasible option. In the meantime, please positively regard the nature of our situation and continue to show your wonderful support for local small businesses. We want to become a destination to which you happily take your family and friends!
