One of the newest vendors at the Leduc Farmers Market is serving up tasty French Macarons! Though it’s only their first year as a vendor, Whipped Up Baked Goods from Edmonton is “loving the friendliness and tight-knit community feel,” commenting that it is “always a joy to come to the Leduc market and find out what’s happening in the community.”
The company started in 2015 with an authentic love of baking and Macarons. Owner, Kandace Kobryn, was sold after taking her first bite at a local bakery!
“The great thing about Macarons is how versatile they are for flavouring and colouring! It allows me to think outside the box and stray away from traditional flavours. I pull from childhood memories to create little bites of nostalgia and a fun new experience for customers.” - Kandace Kobryn, Owner of Whipped Up Baked Goods Out-of-the-box flavours, indeed! From Saskatoon Berry and Nanaimo Bar to Sour Cherry Blaster and Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, her creations are always evolving — a surprise to look forward to every Thursday from 10am - 1:30pm at Leduc Recreation Center (4330 Black Gold Dr).
We believe two of the greatest benefits to attending the Leduc Farmers Market are being able to support local business and to walk away the freshest products. In alignment, Whipped Up Baked Goods’ has made the commitment to using fresh and local ingredients whenever possible — just another reason to swoon over their sweet treats!
Drool over macaroons and stay in-the-loop with Whipped Up Baked Goods by following them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
